Yes another giveaway. I hope you don’t mind. Giveaways are my way of saying THANK YOU for reading my blog!!!

Get your thinking caps on. Think Mediterranean flavors.
Crisco wants you to submit your favorite recipe and essay at Get Inspired.com in the Crisco Mediterranean Inspirations Contest for a chance to win a trip for two to Italy. Fun huh?
Recipes should included one of the three Crisco Olive Oil varieties: Crisco 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Crisco Pure Olive Oil Or Crisco Light Olive Oil; plus two ingredients commonly used in Mediterranean cooking, like tomatoes,garlic,olives,pasta,yogurt,legumes,fresh herbs,lentils, or cheese.
But hurry hurry hurry…contest ends March 18th. But I know you guys are snazzy in the kitchen, so I have faith you will get your submissions in.

    My favorite Crisco item has to be shortening! I always have it on hand and use it for pie crust just like my Grandmom did! I'd love to try the olive oils though, thanks:@)

    I love Crisco Shortening for my baking as well as frying. According to Good Eats using shortening for frying foods makes your house not smell so much like fried food. So I use it every time.

    I have not yet had a chance to try the Crisco olive oils or cooking sprays so I'm gonna have to say my favorite product is the Crisco Shortening Sticks. The shortening is perfect for many of my recipes and the sticks make measuring SO much easier than having to scoop out of the tubs into measuring cups!

    I love this give away! I love those pasta bowls! I feel that I need them!! I like the crisco extra light olive oil. It is great for everything I like the lightness of the extra light! I also always keep the crisco butter flavored shortening on hand because you just never know!

    I just bought Crisco Butter flavored spray (for cooking of course). I usually go for the spray Pam for lower calories and easy clean up. I really like the Pam for baking. However, in a new store I saw the Crisco. At first blush, I cringed thinking of the sat. fats. Anyway, read the label, was convinced it was equal or not worse than Pam and bought it. It had me thinking: what if butter had a higher cooking point? What if you could cook things in butter? I love it. there it is.

    I just bought some Crisco olive oil. That might horrify some foodies, but it's less expensive (yeah, I know, you get what you pay for; but, come one, I also had a coupon!) and the empty plastic bottle can go into the recycling bin, whereas the glass bottle the other brands come in has to be toted around in my car, rolling around noisily, until I remember to drop it off at Target. God bless Target and its recycling bins.

    Hi there, thanks for the giveaway!

    I've really only used Crisco shortening and vegetable oil, and I like both but I have to say that I absolutely love the jug design Crisco uses for their oils. They never drip and the cap is actually a little measuring cup which means I'm washing one less dish after cooking. Love it!

    I use Crisco's nonstick spray, I is the only spray can that doesn't clog up!

    My favorite Crisco product is both the regular shortening and the butter flavored shortening. It is the only brand that I will buy.

    My favorite Crisco product is the Crisco shortening that comes in a stick. That is PERFECT for seasoning cast iron pans and pots.
