Crock-Pot® BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

Easy BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
  • 1½ lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 18 oz jar BBQ sauce
  • 2 large onions,thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 hamburger rolls, buttered and toasted

  1. Place the chicken in Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker
  2. Pour in BBQ sauce
  3. Cook on high for about 5½ to 6 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred on cutting board.
  5. Return to the crock pot and incorporate the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce
  6. Distribute onto toasted buns and top with cooked onions
  1. Place the 1 tablespoon butter in a large pot with a lid.
  2. When the butter is melted, add the onions and cover.
  3. Cook on medium low for about 45 minutes, covered stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve over shredded chicken.
