The Silvermark Toss & Chop is pretty much the best invention ever.(couldn’t find a website for the actual company)

I have had this handy tool for, oh, probably 6 or so years. It is used EVERY time I make a salad. I am not one for big huge pieces  of lettuce in my salad, so this is perfect. You can chop a little or chop a lot depending how small you like you lettuce.

Another plus is when I am making the salad, I throw the lettuce in the bowl and everything else  in whole, like cherry tomatoes, pecans, cheese and then just use the Toss & Chop to chop everything up for me. Basically, it cuts most of the prep work out of making a salad!

I may or may not have been know to put this hand dandy tool in a large zip lock bag and take it to restaurants with me.

This weeks product I have been using for as long as I can remember. Probably for 15-20 years.

I have long hair, and there is nothing worse than getting out of the shower and having wet hair laying on my back. Its cold, and the water drips right down my butt…not pleasant.

So way back when, I used to use a regular towel. However, those are just big and bulky and you can’t really move around that much because it will fall off.

I discovered the Aquis Super Absorbent Hair Towel. I use the Turban Style. I think I originally found it at Bed Bath and Beyond.

It’s FAB-U-LOUS.

After the shower, you hang your head and hair upside down,wrap the towel around your head, flip back up and secure it on your head with the button and hook.

It doesn’t move or fall off  and because it is microfiber, it dramatically cuts your hair drying time in half if not more!

Oh, and they last FOREVER. I think I have bought 2 maybe 3 over the years.

Here’s me in mine. I am totally rockin’ the hair turban look! Yep, I look so glamorous, no make up and all.
Pffffft, I hardly ever wear make up. It’s not that I don’t need it, I just don’t feel like it. I suppose you can call it lazy.

So sexy, huh? Oh, well, you take me as you get me. Just keeping it real peeps.

This is a new favorite for me. Coconut Oil. Kelapo is the brand I use.
Oh, my it has so many health benefits. If you research it on-line you will find that it’s almost a miracle substance of sorts.
Here are just a few….

It has a smoke point of 350. So it’s wonderful for cooking. I use it when I am cooking meat.

Anyway, I was so impressed by the knives I wanted to buy the whole shebang! However I couldn’t afford the whole shebang. The only thing I could afford was 4 steak knives(because I so desperately needed them) and some kitchen scissors. Wait, did you hear the tiny violin music? hmm.

I don’t know what I did without this stuff!

I have the kind of hair that really can’t decide what it wants to do. It’s kinda straight and kinda fuzzy, some curl in random places, it’s a hot mess really.

I certainly don’t have the kind of hair that I can let dry naturally. Think homeless person.

And to make matters worse, it’s super fine and totally greasy. I have have have to wash my hair EVERYDAY or it looks like I haven’t washed it in two weeks.

When I get out of the shower, I use one of those big ol’ pick combs and one squirt of Moroccan Oil. I love the smell and it allows me to glide the comb through my hair without ripping out the last two hairs on my head.

It gives my hair a nice shine and tames down the flyways without making my hair oily AT ALL.

So I picked up the blue bag of blueberries and brought them home. Not having much hope for them, as I am not a big fan of frozen fruit, I threw them into my pancake batter.

The strangest thing happened when I bit into my first bite. I was instantly transported back to a trip to Cape Cod when I was a little girl. I am serious. One bite and all the memories flooded back. I remember picking blueberries off of wild blueberry bushes and literally eating them till we were blue in the face.
