I have not had to seconds to even breath this Holiday Season. So I am regurgitating a Christmas craft I did two years ago here on my blog. So if you are new, these are new to you!!!

These are so simple to do and the kids love making them.

And as a bonus, you get to go to the candy store. Leave the kids at home, because a kid in a candy store can be quite dangerous! Oh wait, or am I talking about my self?

One might call the way I cut my fudge wasteful. See all the scraps left behind? Well, you see, you have to be creative. Most people serve coffee after the holiday dinner. So here is what I do…leave a plateful of the “scraps” next to the coffee station so people can drop pieces in their coffee! Instant PEPPERMINT MOCHA! Yeah, I’m a genius.

So I had an argument with my 2 alter egos. I had the unrealistic cook on my left shoulder and the practical cook on my right. Oh and they had it out. But thank God for my sanity, the nice little practical cook won this year. I was asked to make sugar cookies for my my sons class. You know, a whole bunch of 6 and 7 year olds..the ones who don’t give a damn what the cookies actually looklike..the only requirement is they have some sorts of sprinkly or shiny crap on them. My unrealistic cooked wanted me to make fancy and gorgeous decorated cookies. But like I said, Mrs. Practical won!!! Yaaahooo. So I present to you my simply decorated sugar cookies. Easy peasy.

I know these cute little Ice Cream Christmas Tress have been around forever. Who even knows where they originated. But aren’t they darling? The kids had such a great time with these, that is after they got past the sugar rush from eating the frosting by the spoon fulls!

I went to the candy store in the mall and went to town in all of the candy bins. It was easier to get what I wanted then to buy a bunch of bagged candy and pick through it.

These are quick and painless to assemble. Just make sure you decorate them before the frosting has time to dry. The decorations stick better when the frosting is wet.

Have fun!!! Oh and dont forget to enter my
