Fudge-Filled Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Do you dunk, I mean, do you dunk things in your coffee?

I am a dunker. There are few things better than dunking a sweet cookie into a nice piping hot cup of coffee.

There are cookie/coffee pairings out there I bet you didn’t even know existed that are perfect for dunking! Folgers® has done the legwork and found what cookies make the perfect pair to their different coffees.

My favorite at the time being is Folgers® Black silk coffee with these amazing Fudge-Filled Irresistible cookies.

It’s like heaven.

Peanut butter and fudge go perfectly with the deep dark flavor of coffee. You get me?

Smucker’s® has anAMAZING cookie website  that has over 40 delicious and easy cookie recipes with 6 specific recipes that are paired perfectly with specific blends of Folgers® coffee.

  1. These sound like something even I can bake!

  2. YUM! SO making these this weekend.

  3. Oh my gosh, these cookies look outrageous Leslie! How to choose what to make and share with others, and what to just keep all to myself?!

  4. Irresistible is right!!! Droooling over here.

  5. Does this recipe call for 2 cups of shortening in total?
1 stick of Crisco baking sticks vegetable shortening plus 1 cup of Crisco vegetable shortening?
Why two different forms? It’s confusing.

I’m looking forward to your clarification. 🙂

    • Sharon,

Great question….there should be the word “or” in the recipe. you can use 1 stick of Crisco OR 1 cup of crisco. Sometimes the sticks are not available at all stores.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I have emailed my contact to have them change the recipe wording.
