This weeks Favorite Thing is the OXO Cherry Pitter.
A MUST HAVE if your family likes cherries.
Yeah, yeah, I have seen the other ways to pit a cherry, like with a straw or a paper clip.
Honestly, I have tried both of those and nothing compares it this cherry pitter.
I need a new one. There should actually be a little clear plastic “splatter screen” on the end of it, but mine disappeared.
Yep, just disappeared..kinda like socks.
So I am off to order myself a new one.
Yes, it still works without the splatter screen, you just might have a little extra cherry juice splatter.

I second the awesomeness of this cherry pitter – OXO sent me one last month and I’ve been using it constantly! The splatter screen is genius.

I need to finally break down and get a new cherry pitter. I have been using the piping tip method (push the piping tip in the bottom and push the seed out) all summer and while it works in a pinch a cherry pitter with a splatter screen is easiest and less messy.
It should definitely stay! Every time you put something on I generally get it. I got your Electrolux cordless and absolutely love it. I have 4 cats and 2 have a problem walking out of the litter box without covering the floor. This is perfect! Thanks. It was also $79.99 on sale at Amazon when I got it. Win-win all the way.

my first one broke. i thought that for the cost it should have lasted longer than one cherry season. i emailed oxo. they gave me an address to send it to and they sent me a new one.
i got a brand new one just for the cost of the postage. you should check with them first.

Keep it! Oh and I have a 4 cherry pitter. Not sure what brand it is but a small white box that pits 4 at a time! LOVE IT!
This is MY favorite cherry pitter–it does four at once and all the splatter stays inside. Try it out! I used to be a one-cherry-at-a-time pitter person, but love getting the job done four times faster! 😉

PLEASE PLEASE keep up with the FTT posts! You are always spot on and not only do I have some of the same favorite things, but I have bought the ones I did not have and am ALWAYS pleased. LOVE these posts! Now, off to buy an OXO cherry pitter!

I love my cherry pitter! My little girls LOVE cherries and this absolutely helps with the mess. LOVE IT!
