I could probably live on salsa..every type of salsa. Sweet, spicy..all kinds.
This is my favorite salsa of all times. It’s sweet from the mango and creamy from the avocado and a little spicy from the onion and cilantro. It’s just plain glorious.
Throw it on some chips, add it atop grilled chicken, salmon, salad..the possibilities are endless.
I normally use red onion for some color, but I forgot and got a Vidalia/sweet onion and it turned out perfect, it is just missing the pop of color from the red onion.
- 2 Mangos,cubed
- 2 Haas Avocados,cubed
- ½ small onion(red or Vidalia),cubed
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- Juice from ½ Lemon
- Juice from ½ Lime
- 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl,cover and set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
