Remember a couple of posts back I made these delicious cookies? The recipe came from the fabulous Crisco Cookie Central. Their fabulous website dedicated to all things cookies and bar desserts. They have recipes, tips, videos and a plethora of recipes. I love having all of these delightful recipes all in one convenient place. We all know that Crisco adds magic to cookies, so you must pop on over to the sight and peruse all of the recipes.
Here is a fun giveaway for you. A bunch of cookie related baking items. One can never have enough gadgets in the kitchen.

The first person to reach for the cookie jar is me…hands down. Anything chocolate, it’s mine. And I take full credit for reaching for the cookie jar. I love to try new recipe’s, and when they are new, and chocolatey wonderfulness is involved, my hand definitly reaches for it 🙂

Well, who gets into the cookies first depends on who is visiting at the time. (Sadly I don’t have a cookie jar, so… but even if I did someone is getting to the cookies while they’re still warm on the cooling grids anyway.) Sometimes it’s my dad, or my brother, or my oldest niece. And yeah, sometimes it’s ME. =)

It would be hard to say who would get the first cookie. The Ken and the kids will keep walking by the kitchen to see when the first tray comes out and wait until my back it turn to grab the cookie on the cooling rack.

My son Reed is ALWAYS the first to reach in the cookie jar! He loves cookies! When he was 3 years old, he reached in the oven and took one off of the tray. I saw him eating the cookie, and I asked him where he got it because I knew that I had not taken them out of the oven, and he ran to the kitchen and pointed at the oven. I am so thankful he was not burned. He is now 8 years old, but I have to keep a close eye on him while I am making cookies!

Our favorite cookies are a chocolate chip cookie recipe with MMS in them instead. Monster cookies follow closely for me.

Depends on the cookie…if it is store bought my son will be the first but if they are homemade both my son and husband are in line waiting to be the first but it is usually me who gets the first one 🙂

Depends on the type of cookie. If its chocolate, my husband. If its oatmeal, my daughter. If its peanut butter, my son. Me? Oh, no, I’m too well behaved for that type of mischief ;-P

I dont know why I just spent 10 minutes looking at all the cookie recipes when I knew the instant I saw the very first recipe that it was the one for me: Butter Pecan Crisps! I love Butter Pecan ice cream so I think these will be good.

My dad is definitely the first to reach in the cookie jar. The classic Tollhouse recipe is the favorite around here… he even makes me save him some dough if he’s not around while I’m making them!
It is a toss up between me and my husband. If he gets to it first, the cookies will be gone quickly. I try to hide them a bit at first. Although once I tried to eat them all before he got home (cuz he always scarfs them down), but I made myself sick…LOL
