Fudge..The Best Ever

Fudge

Remember when I told you I ate fudge out of the trash can??….This is the one!!
I can’t believe I am going to let the cat out of the bag…one of my secrets.
Everyone RAVES about my fudge, no really..they rave.
It is expected to make an appearance at all parties hosted at my house and I get the evil eye if I do not bring it with me to a party I attend.
One bite and I hear, “Oh, my God, this is the best fudge I have ever had!”
I politely shake my head and say, “Thank you, I think so too.”
If they only knew. muahhhh ha ha!
The recipe has been right under their noses for YEARS.
Right on the back of the Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Cream jar.
I have simplified the recipe a bit over the years.
So there..you too can make the best fudge EVER.

FUDGE- THE BEST EVER
Printer Friendly Version

3 cups Sugar
1 1/2 sticks Butter
1 (5 oz) can Evaporated Milk
1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar (7oz) Jet-Pufferd Marshmallow Creme
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Line a 9″ square pan with foil.
In a medium pot over medium heat, bring the sugar, butter and milk to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Allow to boil( at FULL BOIL) for 3 minutes (set the timer!!!)
Remove from the heat.
Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow cream until completely smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Pour into your foil lined pan and allow to completely cool.
Lift the fudge out of the pan by the foil liner
Cut to the size you desire. I recommend SMALL pieces.

  5. Fudge is one of those foods that make your eyes roll back in your head.

  13. Awesome. I've been making fudge for awhile, but have never used marshmallow fluff…I may have to now! Thanks!

  14. oh my gosh, i must have fudge!

  15. Hahaha, that's the same recipe I use and people think it's the best too. I mean shoot, it is, now both of our secrets are out.

  16. My aunt has used that Kraft recipe to make fudge for ages. Her fudge is a favorite of everyone as well. I personally have luck using the Hershey's recipe (with a couple top secret tweaks I have only shared with my aunt who repeatedly declared it far better than HER recipe… *insert evil laughter here*) and everyone always raves about it. I do not make it often (I have no willpower when it comes to chocolate) and when I do I try to give most of it away to save myself from the calories. Needless to say, people love when I say I'll be making fudge because they know they're going to be getting some of it. =)

  17. Nutmeg Nanny says:

    It does look amazing!

  18. Lauren Reeves says:

I've been using this fudge recipe for years, and I too get compliments all the time about how decadent it is. Sooo rich and creamy and yet, I still can't usually stop at just one piece!

  19. i defy anyone to look at that list of ingredients and say 'that wouldn't be good.' pure decadence.

  20. I can't believe it took me so long to get over here after your FB teaser the other day.
    Me. love. fudge.
    Me. husband. hates. fudge.
More fudge for me, I say.
That recipe is a good one.
    Fudge is dangerous for me.

  21. Healthy and Homemade says:

OMG why didn't I know about this recipe? I really want to try this now and wish it was Christmas again =( If I made this for me and my hubby, who doesn't eat fudge, I would sadly gain back about 10 lbs. HAHA! Looks great, thanks for sharing =)

  22. Oh woo what an easy and delicious recipe..I love the photo! Yummy!!!

  23. YUM!
I like the addition of marshmallows. I made fudge for the holidays and was amazed at how easy it is to do and everyone is so impressed 🙂

  25. This is the exact fudge my mom and grandma always made!! I am so excited to find the recipe. The funny thing is my mom wrote it down for me (she has since passed away) but left things out, like how long to let it boil and that is a KEY thing. Thanks for posting!
