    I've lived woth Crohn's disease for 17 yrs. As a result, I was never overweight, except when I had to take steroids. I recently had a permanent ostomy surgery and as a result finally feel healthy again. The down side is, I've gained a good amount of weight, post surgery.     My BIGGEST motivation is showing my two daughters what it means to love and respect yourself! I am their #1 roll model and I do NOT want to diapoint them or give them wrong message of low self worth.     I want to fit regular sized clothes and live longer. Even though it seems I feel good when I eat the unhealthy stuff I know I feel better, longer when I don’t.
    Of course if I could know what moderation meant……..LOL
