Most popular posts of 2009

I hope everyone had a safe, fun and happy New Year. I was surprisingly able to stay somewhat sober. And that is a good thing. Silly things happen when I drink and I wish not to discuss them!!!

I thought I would start 2010 with my most visited posts for 2009(per Google Analytics). It always cracks me up what things people google and it leads them to my site. Aside from food lurkers, I get lots of porn people ending up on my site. You know, with a name like “The Hungry Housewife”, that comes with the territory. I have even found my Videos, my total innocent videos on a Porn website(you can pick your jaw up off the floor now, as I did when I found out). Totally cracks me up. The site will remain nameless. But it is a funny one. To each their own right, food…porn..all in the same. Some people drool over me(who knew??,weirds me out a bit) but I prefer to drool over food.
Some of these posts might be new to you but you might have seen them before..either way enjoy!

  9. OMG!
You know you are supposed to use your first pets name and the street you lived on for your porn name. I never considered your blog name would bring out the ickies. I have a phone voice that could do 1-900 #s. I swear if I did and they said a word my response would be….Shame on you!.
This was a great laugh to start my morning.
I have been known to make drunken phone calls if left alone too long. Oh the regrets. So not worth it.
I hope you have a lovely year, blessed beyond measure.

  25. Leslie-Karen says:

I think I may have contributed to about 1/2 of the googles for the leftover rice pudding! My mom and I don't care much for the white rice that usually comes with Chinese food, and we always have it leftover. I was looking for a leftover rice-pudding recipe and yours sounded the best! I printed it out the first time I saw it, and my mom asked me "Is that your recipe?" (It said Leslie's Leftover Rice Pudding" on the top, and my name is Leslie too!)Don't worry, I didn't take credit! Since then I've lost the original print-out of your recipe so I just resorted to googling it whenever I want to make it. (Off to make some right now, actually!)

So you are the one who is always Googling this!!?? LOL
