Don’t worry Leslie, I am right there with you. Between kids, my school work, endless laundry, cooking and cleaning I am short on time. Sometimes I seriously consider stopping the blog. I’m on the fence.
Hi Leslie, Glad your back with your video posts. Yes, it’s hard to juggle everything at home and the blog. If I could just hire someone to clean my house and do my laundry and put it away I’d be such a happy girl! I don’t post more than 3x a week. More than that, I’d seriously get NOTHING done.
Let me know how you like your eco light. I bought one a few months ago and prefer the natural light pictures over the ones with the light. I’m probably not utilizing right! Maybe it’s just me!
I totally agree with you! My house is a mess, I’ve gained soooo much weight, it’s all the cakes and brownies Mmmmm, but I’m going on holiday next week, bikini, eek!
I tend to find that if I’m baking something, I write the draft of the recipe whilst it’s cooking and then write the other bits in later when I have photos, hope that helps???
Well, it’s good to know I’m not alone in all this food blogging has consumed a lot of my time and neglected everything else in my house. ha! I thought I was the only one. Thankfully I haven’t put on the weight, but a lot of things in the house are neglected. Don’t get me wrong this food blogging thing is great and it’s an obession I love; a happy obession you know. I need to get a video camera so I can show you MY messes! OY

Lol, blogging is taking over your life?! What are you talking about?! 😉 I know what you mean…my husband does the laundry now…and he doesn’t mind it because he gets to eat what I bake (and usually it’s edible, not always :)!
BTW, what light was it that you said you were using? I moved and don’t have my little photo studio set up anymore and don’t know what I should buy to recreate it :).
Not only is my laundry room a mess but it is also old,decrepit and needs to be redone. I love your blog! I am too consumed by blogging,reading blogs and cooking. You just reminded me that I need to get off the computer, get some housework done and go for a run.

Yes, the blog-o-sphere is an evil place that sucks too much time from our days. The weight gain is exactly why I don’t bake. At least with entrees i can a two person portion but baking makes it harder. Except for cookies. I make a huge batch of them, make little balls and freeze them. I’d rather waste a lot of gas baking 4 cookies than have two dozen sitting around!

It crept up slowly but surely… 10 pounds. Grrr… but I can’t stop baking, it’s my only enjoyment in an otherwise ridiculously stressed out life.

I’m a bit consumed at times by my blog too…more so it keeps me up late at night b/c I end up blog surfing!!
